What world do I want to live in?

If I had such an opportunity, I would aim for total freedom and try to live a life that is not bound by capitalism and not divided by who you are born as. Where every race, caste and religion is just who you are and not a reason to judge or classify you.

The world we live in is so corrupt due to what we were taught, by another generation that was corrupt by what they were taught by another broken generation. More more than spreading love and being there for each other, we are taught to look after ourselves and protect the religion, caste, family name and everything else we stand for. Here is where it all breaks! If anyone goes against what we believe in and stand for, we use force or just get nasty and we just become another poison in the society.

Did we forget greed? Our brain works on emotions, and emotions and controlled by the chemicals. There are two chemicals that if not kept in check can really make us go out of control and make us want more and MORE. Dopamine and serotonin these chemicals exist to make us happy or feel satisfied from what is happening around us. But when you live in a materialistic society where rappers sing about how not wearing the best brands and not having a diamond chain makes you less cool. It’s just injected in your head like snake venom in your blood but only killing you mentally and emotionally. You are never satisfied with what you have, you see your friend with a new car? Deep down you are not happy anymore, you are jealous that you want a better one! You just want more, addicted to the feeling of getting respect/recognition from materialistic possessions that you really can’t take with you when you die!
